OLATHE, Kan. — The 2015 KC Masters got off to an exciting start at Wolf Creek Golf Club on Monday, October 26.  It was a chilly 45 degrees at the first starting time, but eventually warmed up to be a cool Fall day on the course.

The KC Masters is an invitation only event where the KCGA selects 25 of Kansas City’s best golfers to compete in a two-day, 36-hole event.  Wolf Creek is a par 72, 6,840 yard championship course located in Olathe, Kansas.

Charlie Schorgl leads the event as he posted a 70 (-2), carding six birdies on the day.  Trailing Schorgl by one stroke is Ryne Fisher and Doug Albers as they inked a 71 (-1) on their scorecard.  Fisher tallied five birdies as Albers posted six birdies on the day.  There is a two-way tie for fourth between Mark Addington and Steve Groom as they posted a 72 (E). In sixth is Joe Ida as he fired a 73 (+1).

It should be a tight battle for the finish at Wolf Creek on Tuesday as the leaderboard is only a few strokes apart.
