Denise Desilet of Wichita continued her record-breaking dominance of the KWGA Senior Championship winning her tenth title and sixth in a row on her home course – Reflection Ridge GC.  Strong winds during both rounds made difficult playing conditions for the competitors, but Desilet stood out from the field with steady play in both rounds. Rosemary Grant of Falcon Ridge GC claimed her first KWGA Super Senior title with 89-91=180 over second place finishers Fran Hudson and Phyllis Fast who both finished with 183 totals. Grant’s steady second round play separated her from the field in the Super Senior Division, for women 70 years and over, on a day where tough conditions caused higher scores for most players.
