The Kansas City Junior Tour kicked off the start of its season June 5, at Fred Arbanas Golf Course. In the boys 16 and over division, Matthew Scharff fired a six-over par, 78, to take medalist honors. Matthew Snyder took second with an eight-over par, 80. There was a four-way tie for third place with Kohlin Hicks, Michael Garcia, Trace Walters, and Blake Aerni all shooting ten-over, 82.

Griffin Brassell won the boys 13-15 division with a score of 6-over, 78. Drake Krumme and Beau Barnes fired scores of 83 and 84 to take second and third place, respectively.

The boys prep division features players from ages 10-12 and is a 9-hole tournament. JP Hepler won the division with a six-over par, 42.

In the girl’s 16 and over division, Grace Parkerson fired an eleven-over par, 83, to claim the victory by five shots over Lauren Wood.

Lauren Muller won the girl’s 13-15 division shooting a nine-over par, 81. Abby Howard and Lia Johnson took second and third place with scores of 90 and 92.
