Central Links Golf presents three awards annually – Girls Player of the Year, Women’s Player of the Year, and Senior Women’s Player of the Year. These awards reflect tournament participation and performance, especially in major championships both in Central Links Golf events and nationwide events. To be eligible to win this award, juniors must play in at least one Central Links Golf hosted event outside of a USGA qualifier.
Points are accumulated from April 1 to October 31. Players must be a member of a Central Links Golf member club with an active GHIN number to accumulate points for the Player of the Year award.
Points will be awarded for finish in the overall gross division. The Player of the Year award for each division will be based on the best 8 events for each player.
The top 8 girls on the Player of the Year list will be invited to play in the Kansas Junior Match Play at Wamego Country Club on July 10 & 11th.
