The Central Links Golf Legends Player of the Year award is presented to the best senior male player (aged 70 and older) at the end of every competition season. This title rewards tournament participation and performance, especially in major championships both in Central Links Golf events and nationwide events.
Starting in 2026, the previous Kansas City and Kansas Legends Player of the Year awards have been merged in to one CLG Legends Player of the Year award.
Points will be accumulated from March 15 through October 31. Players must be a member of a Central Links Golf member club with an active GHIN number to accumulate points for the Player of the Year award.

The 2025 Kansas City Legends Player of the Year was Sam Vanlandingham, from Basehor.
