The Rusty Hilst Central Links Golf Boy’s Junior Player of the Year award is presented to the best male junior at the end of every competition season. This title rewards tournament participation and performance, especially in major championships both in Central Links Golf events and USGA events. This award is a combined list of what was formerly the KCGA and the KGA. One Junior Player of the Year award with be awarded. To be eligible to win this award, juniors must play in at least one Central Links Golf event outside of the USGA event.

Points will be accumulated from April 1 through October 31. Players must be a member of a Central Links Golf member club with an active GHIN number to accumulate points for the Player of the Year award.

The top 16 on the Boys Junior Player of the Year list as of July 3rd will be invited to play in the Kansas Junior Match Play Championship on July 10 & 11 at Wamego Country Club. The top 8 on the Boys Junior Player of the Year list following the Kansas Junior Tour Championship will be invited to play on the Kansas/Nebraska Cup team in early August. Team invites will be sent out on July 23rd.
